Lewisham Arts and Entertainment is part the Cultural Services department within the Directorate for Community Services and consists of The Lewisham Arts Service (LAS) and the Broadway Theatre.

The LAS provides a variety of services for the benefit of artists, arts organisations, schools and anyone interested in planning, participating in or enjoying arts and cultural activities in the Borough.
Our aim is to encourage, support and promote the development of a whole range of art forms both professional and non-professional by providing helpful and practical services.

Information & Advice
The Service provides practical advice on all aspects of the arts, and can give information about arts provision available around the Borough. If we don’t know the answer to your query, we will do the best to find it.

Arts Development
Our work also aims to facilitate links, networks and partnerships between practising artists, arts organisations, schools and the wider community. This has included providing practical help to assist new and developing groups, initiating new activities and enabling networks.
